Every year, Great Ormond Street Hospital treats over 150,000 children, many of whom suffer from rare and life threatening conditions. The Hospital's mission is to provide world-class clinical care and training, pioneering new treatments and cures in partnership with the UCL Institute of Child Health. Its key value is "The Child, First and Always". In order to provide this lifesaving treatment, Great Ormond Street Hospital need to raise £50 million each year. Also, this is a great programme to promote during Christmas, as every person who registers will get the change to write a short message of Christmas cheer to the children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Before Christmas, these messages are printed onto stockings and hung in the wards, which is really appreciated by the children there.
